Vanity begins at home.

I was telling my sister JN this morning about how I was concerned about running out of content for blogging.  What a stupid thing to be worried about. Who cares?  Blogging has been good for me because it's gotten a lot off my chest, and also keeps reminding me of the lousy shit my ex put me through- which is good to keep my strength up.
She said that she had the same concern. Not about her own blog, but about mine.  She said that she had the thought, "what if she tells all her stories...? is she gonna stop blogging?"  I took this as the biggest compliment of the century.  There's a chance that she simply meant, "oh crap, I'm gonna have to listen to her bitch about her shit if she doesn't blog anymore."  That's a possibility.
But, I chose to take it as the fact that she enjoys my writing.  She knows all the stories.. at least, I think she does. She was right there with me through all the insanity.
I chose to take it as she liked my writing.  When you go through a tough patch, it's very easy to go a long long time without any compliments thrown your way. And even when they're thrown your way, it's easy to dismiss them and tell yourself that the sentiment was not necessarily meant as a compliment for you.. it was just a nice coincidence that it made ya feel good.
Well, I'm gonna take this one as a compliment. Thanks, JN.

  4. Hello Judyc...you posted comments on Erin Logan's Prada to Payless blog, where I followed your cracker trail back to your blog! I really like it! Makes me laugh, very raw and real, which makes it good.

I am Erin's roommate from Long Island University. Haven't talked to her in 20 years! Anyway, she got in touch through the internet recently, and I keep an eye on her blog.

Wanted to say hello to another blogger adrift on the Net just purging all the ugly stuff into something that is at least amusing....that's why I write too...everyone is tired of hearing the bitching, but I have to put it somewhere. Just letting you know that I peek in every now and then!
